CALL FOR PAPERS

People interested in submitting their papers for roundtable discussion during June 16 and 17 are invited  to send an extended abstract (1000 words max)  to speculativesummerschool23@gmail.com  by May 15th.

AoIR will be awarding a number of travel scholarships of up to €300. If you are interested in being considered for a travel scholarship, please note this in your submission by attaching a half-page letter of motivation stating why your financial situation should render you eligible for this. (Note that travel scholarships will be awarded as reimbursements for travel and/or accommodation costs. Receipts will be submitted to the AoIR treasurer after the event.)

Selected abstracts will be circulated among the participants by early June. Depending on the results we will consider publishing a selection of the papers as a special issue of an appropriate journal.

The call for papers is open and papers can be theoretical, empirical or both, any topic or theme is of interest as long as it is broadly connected to the overall question of imagining new interconnections of politics and technology in the scenario of the Anthropocene.
